Overview

The candidates travel a great deal during the campaign. What influences where they go and how often they visit certain places? Why are some locations avoided and others visited several times? These questions are relevant not only for the candidate but also for the money the campaign spends. As a way to introduce the realities of presidential campaigns in the 21st century, students will keep track of the candidates’ campaign stops from now until the election. Tallying the election results will be a good way to see if their visits made a difference.
