Published in London by William Faden, this 1776 map of the Lake Champlain region is the earliest plan of the first naval battle of the Revolutionary War that accurately depicts the positions of the fleets during the attack, and their movements to and from the action. The map displayed here is the original issue, without the account of the battle below the map.
