Notes:
Date range attributed from paper watermark (for 1742) and from reference to "destroyed works" in the map's key (perhaps after the Siege of 1745 and before the fort was returned to the French in 1748, or after the Siege of 1758 and certainly before 1768 when the last of the British garrison departed the fortress?). The map's style suggests a date of production in the latter part of this range, however the paper watermarks offers the potential for an earlier date of production.
