Shortly after the Boston Massacre, which occurred on March 5, 1770, colonial printer, engraver, and patriot Paul Revere completed this sketch plan. The detailed plan depicts King Street, and includes illustrations of four victims, although five eventually perished. It is unclear whether the plan was used in the subsequent trial of the British troops, however the reverse contains information consistent with docket procedure of the time.
